Great Northern's voice seems to be in great shape and the band was very talented. Unfortunately, this was the least fun I've ever had at a show. He only played a couple of songs I came to hear and the words were muffled on the rest. First the positives... At Great Northern's request, the setlist and the rules sucked all the fun out of the short evening.
Before the show we were informed via loudspeaker that there would be No food or beverages sold during the concert and we were instructed to enter the theatre precisely on time as Great Northern would begin at 8:05. He is clearly not interested in pleasing the fans who payed between $55 and $350 a ticket for the hour and 30-40 minute show. There was no opening act. He did not speak to the crowd once and promptly left the stage while the band finished the last song. There was no encore even though the fans requested one loudly.
